In a landmark move towards enhanced transparency and security, the Gujarat High Court revolutionised its monitoring capabilities by implementing a comprehensive CCTV system across its expansive judicial network. Faced with the challenge of overseeing 300+ subordinate courts, the High Court, along with its own campus and the State Judiciary campus, required a robust and centralised solution.
Leveraging the existing G-SWAN broadband infrastructure, a network of over 4100 high-quality Tyco and Axis cameras was strategically deployed. This ambitious project enabled real-time, centralised viewing at the Gujarat High Court, empowering authorities with unprecedented situational awareness.
The benefits were immediate and profound. Judges and administrators could now effortlessly monitor courtroom proceedings, secure court premises, and ensure perimeter integrity from a single, central location. The ability to live-view and playback recorded footage provided invaluable tools for oversight, security, and procedural review. This initiative not only streamlined judicial operations but also fostered a culture of accountability, ultimately strengthening public trust in the administration of justice within Gujarat. The seamless integration of technology and existing infrastructure transformed the Gujarat High Court’s monitoring capabilities, setting a new standard for judicial oversight in India.
Essar Projects India, Limited, faced the formidable task of securing its vast and complex operational landscape. The challenge demanded a comprehensive security solution capable of managing a wide array of systems across a sprawling environment. Recognising the need for robust surveillance and access control, they partnered to implement a cutting-edge integrated system.
The solution delivered a powerful network of 707 cameras, strategically positioned to provide complete coverage. This included a mix of PTZ, explosion-proof PTZ, and fixed cameras, ensuring optimal surveillance in every area. A robust recording storage system, coupled with a high-speed fiber backbone, enabled seamless data transmission and multi-client viewing.
Complementing the CCTV system, a sophisticated access control and time attendance system was deployed. This included turnstile gates, boom barriers, bollards, and tripod gates, all managed by 195 controllers and 409 readers. The multi-client workstation provided centralized control and monitoring, allowing for efficient management of personnel access and time tracking.
The benefits were immediate and tangible.
